Cappella Living Solutions is now operating Legacy Commons of Pueblo West. National Health Investors, Inc, (NYSE:NHI) purchased the assisted living community, located in Pueblo West, Colorado for $7.6 million. Christian Living Communities (CLC)/Cappella own the operations and are providing management services at the community. The community of 51 Assisted Living Apartment Homes and 32 employees currently serve both private pay and Medicaid residents.

“We are excited to bring our vision of creating communities where aging is honored and celebrated to Legacy Commons residents and associates,” said Terry Rogers, President and CEO of CLC/Cappella. “We believe in integrating and elevating established communities, honoring their culture and partnering for a bright future.”

NHI President and CEO Eric Mendelsohn agreed, “NHI is excited to be expanding its portfolio with entry into Colorado through this new relationship with Cappella Living Solutions.”

With the operational purchase of Legacy Commons, CLC/Cappella now owns five operations in Colorado and is responsible for the management of 26 communities across seven states. CLC/Cappella has experienced exponential growth over the last two years.

Rogers shared that CLC/Cappella is “thrilled to now be part of the southern Colorado story of serving older adults, discovering the unique qualities and needs of the community and empowering both team members and residents to live their best possible lives.”

Hear what Our Clients Have to Say

"When we moved to Holly Creek we thought about what is visible, such as interiors, apartment layout, dining areas, which are all very nice but after living here for a year we have discovered what is most important is the people that live here and employees, who are all so considerate and kind who are at the HEART of Holly Creek. They make Holly Creek a special place in which to live."
